Some people from around Moosach came to META Theater on Friday evening. We asked some questions such as the following:

What do prostheses evoke in you? Why? What do prostheses remind you of? Comments we got:

  • They look like pincers, bats
  • It is not inviting
  • They can look evil, they are not beautiful
  • Sharpness is threatening
  • Looks like a skeleton, the carcass of a dead animal
  • They look very different depending on where the person place them
  • Why are they not covered?
  • They look like they are looking for something
  • They look like antennae or organs of perception
  • Why do they all look the same?
  • Beauty is in the movement
  • Meditative.
  • Raw, naked.
